Continuing the Wing-T series from part one I still want to keep going with the Why of the Wing-T. In this post I want to focus on quotes from other coaches on Twitter.

I put out this Twitter Post: "Calling all Wing-T Coaches, I need personal testimonials on WHY you run the Wing-T. Message me with your story." I have only had this up for about two days and I have received quite a few good quotes that I would like to share with you guys. These are just a few:
From Chris Fore, MA, CAA https://twitter.com/CoachFore
"Took over an 0-10 program who threw 35 picks in the spread. Installed the Wing-T, improved to 5-5, lost 2 games on last play of game!... Ran it from 2001-2009. Love the wing t! Helped our little schools to have success."

From Jon Kroeger https://twitter.com/Coach_Kroeger
"Been running wingt since I played in HS, gets more backs involved, not dependent on a stud Qb, good for any size linemen esp. smaller guys"

From Jarrod Remer https://twitter.com/coach_remer
"We feel like its not dependent on a stud at qb each year and the gap schemes help smaller linemen out"

From Phil Vogt https://twitter.com/thecoachvogt
"Angles. Tons of formations. Plays that look the same but hit dif spots. Run from pro-i it's even better... Wide zone plus 1-3 wingT plays and you have potent run game"
I of course have other coaches chiming in as we speak, but for now I think we are understanding the fact that there are a lot of coaches out there who are fans of the Wing-T. Be on the lookout for more Wing-T related posts and other posts.
